Joseph Cody

Designer, Engineer, 3-D Visualizer, General Contractor

Joseph graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from North Carolina State University. During his senior year at NCSU, he received an Award of Honor and Group Achievement Award from NASA on development of an Orbital Ejector which was launched on the Discovery Space Shuttle in 1992. After graduation, he joined Corning and worked there his entire career. He held different engineering and construction roles while using his creative mind to earn 26 US and International patents and was awarded Inventor of the Year Award three times. He also represented Corning at the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) for 10 years and held the Chair position for 4 years.

Joseph keeps his love of architecture and art alive by designing and building custom homes, kitchens, and baths while maintaining a watercolor art studio. His attention to detail is especially noticeable in his designs while creating the perfect balance of form and function.

He is the proud father of two graduates from UNC Chapel Hill and a university student at UNC-Wilmington. His favorite times are at home with his kids and beautiful wife Louise, who is his business partner.

Currently he is a Designer, 3-D Visualizer, General Contractor, Engineer, Licensed Home Inspector, & sUAS Commercial Pilot.
